Why the layout matters for hifz
Ask a hafiz where an ayah is and many will answer with a position: top of the right-hand page, around the tenth line. That visual memory is a big part of how the Quran stays in place, and it only works if the page you revise from has the same line breaks as the page you learned on.
The 15-line Madani Mushaf is the one most people recognize, but the printings are not identical. Ayafy includes both the Madani Mushaf 1421H and the Madina 1405 layouts, so you can pick the one closer to your own mushaf instead of relearning where things fall.
Choosing a font
The three fonts differ in how the letters and marks are drawn. DigitalKhatt v2, Madina 1405 and Madina 1421H each read a little differently, so open the same page in each and keep the one your eyes settle into fastest. You can change it later at any time, and the font size can be adjusted separately.
