Sajdah

Sajdah is the position of prostration in Salah, where the forehead touches the ground in submission to Allah.

What does Sajdah mean?

Considered the point of closest nearness to Allah within prayer, Sajdah is performed twice in each unit of Salah, and certain Quranic verses also carry a recommended Sajdah when recited or heard.
