Ahzaab

أَحْزَاب · /ʔæħˈzæːb/

Ahzaab is the plural of Hizb, the sixty equal portions the Quran is traditionally divided into for study and recitation.

What does Ahzaab mean?

Each Hizb is half of a Juz, so the thirty Juz of the Quran split further into sixty Ahzaab. Reciters and memorizers often use these divisions to pace daily reading or revision goals.
